Christmas cards

Hey I was just wondering what your percentage of Christmas cards received vs. Christmas cards sent out is? Our is roughly 40%. We send out about 45 and get around 20 back. (on a good year!) I'm not trying to bag on those of you who don't do cards, I understand it's another big project at a time when everyone is so busy anyway. I personally love Christmas cards. I think they're nice. In today's world of email, Blogs, and Facebook, I realize that Christmas cards are losing their main purpose of keeping people in touch. Still, there is something nice about getting mail in the actual mailbox and the fact that these people took the time to get my address, possibly write a short message, and pay for a stamp means something. I'm just sayin...

I'm just always on the look-out for something to cut OUT of my schedule the month before Christmas...so this year I'm sending st. Patty's day cards.

No Cindy, like I said, not bagging on the no-card folks. Just expressing my appreciation for a dying tradition. Looking forward to St. Patty's day though!
