i luv...

Yes I do! I Love Target. I don't know why but Target is chic and Wal-mart is cheap. Why is that? I love their clearance racks...especially at this time of year! I went in to p/u Valentines for the kids on Monday and an hour just slipped away while I was browsing...that never happens! Todd called me asking where the crap I was! So Yesterday I couldn't find my cell phone...we called it...and a nice gal in Target customer service answered! OOOOPS! Looks like I have to go back :)....honestly it really was an accident!

maybe a bit premature but...

This guy is my early American Idol favorite. (I know I'm a psycho.) His name is Adam Lambert & he ROCKS! He's a rocker, he wears eye make-up, he's not exactly 'unknown' (he's been on broadway), his voice reminds me of a Sebastian Bach/Josh Groban?! I don't even know if he'll make it to the top 20, but if he doesn't it's a crime I tell ya... We'll see what happens but just so you know, I reserve the right to change my mind...

twilight

Okay so Todd took me to see twilight tonight. I know the rest of the world has already seen it and I really didn't expect or have a great desire to see it...get this ...it was his idea! So far be it from me to say no! We went and I have to say I expected it to dissappoint, but my expectations were not met...I really liked it...surprisingly so. I have a renewed love for Edward...I mean, he's so... intense!

My 'BLURB' book just got here and it looks awesome! I'm thrilled...love it...

Ode to the DVR

I have to say there are a few inventions within the past 15 years or so that have changed my life. I was just fine before them but after having and using them I can never not have them. The latest on my list of cool things I can't live without is the DVR! Oh! It's so awesome to watch TV on my time and not schedule things around when..say,..American Idol is on. It's also great to skip through commercials or the really long dragged out episodes of the biggest loser...just hop to the end and see who's going home. I love it too because I can have an assorted collection of kids shows at the touch of a button for my munchkins and we don't have to find a DVD, put it in, and worry that they're going to scratch it. Oh and you know when sometimes you 'miss' something that was just said ...just back it up a bit...even when you're not recording...or pause if you have to use the little ladies room in the middle of a show...Yes it ROCKS! Not only do I watch TV when I want to, I watch way less of it then I used to before I had it...leaving time for me to waste in other ways. (like Blog!)

my red door makes me :)

So I've painted my front door red, and I love it...even though Reagan thinks it doesn't "match". It stands out a bit, but that was the idea. I love red doors and have for a while, so I did a bit of googleing & found out that red doors have several different meanings:
-If you're into Feng Shui, and your door faces north, (Yes mine does!), a red door is supposed to bring you prosperity, luck & good energy.
-In Christianity a red door can represent several things such as the blood of Christ or the sacrafice made by the Jewish Slaves of Egypt who were instructed by God to paint the blood of a sheep on their door so that the Angel of Vengence (don't know exactly what it was refered to in the bible) would pass over that dwelling and harm no one inside. In other words 'Safety' to all those inside...I liked this one!
-In early Pioneer days, people passing through a new town would look for red doors as symbols of welcome and possible refuge from their travels.
There were a few other meanings too but these are my favs. Maybe one of these legends will prove to be true...I hope so...but for now I'm smiling every time I see my door. That's reason enough for me!
