So a couple of weeks ago I had my 1st paying gig as a photographer...lets just say it was a learning experience...a BIG learning experience. I had to photograph a large extended family. I made the HUGE mistake of only posing the whole group in one setting. and then I photographed the smaller sub-groups. But the big group picture was the most important...I really don't know what I was thinking!!! I was SICK thinking I had blown the whole thing when I reviewed the photos. Todd suggested I use a little photoshop magic...I thought No WAY! They were bad I mean
really bad...but I started experimenting a bit with it and was again amazed at what I could do.
So Here's the really bad
Before photoshop shot...

(I"m really quite embarassed about this!)
...and here it is
After 10+hrs of photoshop adjustments.
Lesson learned: Photoshop is the crappy photographer's best friend. A smart, wise and seasoned photographer will avoid excess work and stress by just getting it right the first time!
