I'm back. I've taken a bit of a hiatus from personal blogging. I've been busy. The holidays are always busy but what is it about taking down the Christmas decorations that gives me such a rush of energy directed at my house? I don't know why but every January it seems I take on too many home projects. Last year I tackled the master bedroom. This year it was Reagan's room,(see family blog), and our living room. I also have decided to spend little to no money on my projects so there has been a lot of 'creativity' involved. I've painted a lot of things, - chairs, shelves, frames etc., & re-covered pillows and chairs. I've moved things around & moved them back again. I've organized a lot of my closets & thrown away a ton of crap. I've also kept a lot of crap and put it all in a big garage sale pile for the spring. I'm getting the kids to help and we'll take our garage sale earnings and go to Lagoon or somewhere fun. Reagan is going to make a haul on her stuffed animals! I've 'spring' cleaned my plant shelves , (after 5 yrs of dust!) I've put window treatments on 3 windows, (after 5yrs of nada!) I've organized and backed up my personal photos and computer. I've created a book from my blog last year and am having it printed out for our family. I did it through Blurb and am soooo excited about it! I'm planning on making one every year and working on making on books for the past 5 yrs.(the years I haven't scrapbooked!) It's way easy, inexpensive, and great quality! Check it out - http://www.blurb.com/ Goodbye and good riddance to scrap booking forever!!!
Reading over this post it seems like I'm very industrious but not to worry, I've managed to find time to sit on my heiney and watch me some American Idol and Bachelor! I mean really...I have my priorities. Finally good quality TV shows back for me to enjoy!
**a little disclaimer: Todd helped me with many of these projects!!

HI again!

Thanks for the blurb info! I've been waiting and wondering how and when I would be able to put all my blog stuff into a book. And I agree. Scrapbooking takes way too much time and things. Digital creates wonderful memories and they are just as pleasing to the eye!
